Before heading off to other parties around town, I popped into Charles Street to see what the long queue was all about. As usual, the bar was packed, the music was a go go and everyone was having a good time - except on this occasion; everyone was high on the Pride festivities too.

Charles Street Bar has become a focal point for the scene in Brighton for the young gay crowd and their friends for over five years. A bar, cafe and restaurant the layout and decor is contemporary with an abundance of flat panel screens bedecking the walls to provide music video.
