Tonight saw the annual candlelit dinner for GEMS - Brighton's Gay Elderly Men's Society - attended by Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Garry Peltzer Dunn. A wonderful evening had by all, with that other Brighton gem, Maisie Trollette, providing the after-dinner entertainment.
As everyone started tucking into their starters, there was a special unveiling of the new banner for GEMS which was designed by a member of the community group.
