It was a difficult decision. Another Christmas of family tensions, wintery weather and a surplus of sprouts? Or a day trip to the sunshine state, perhaps...

Somehow, the attraction of Disney won. Okay, so it was a really REALLY short visit. But it was cheap, I'd never been outside of Europe and it meant Laura wasn't on her own for Christmas. (Awww, I'm so schweet...)

Five of us travelled (Upper Class of course) on the Crew Companion Christmas trip. And we enjoyed every second. The flights were more than comfortable and whilst the five of us had a head start on the alcohol front, the crew soon caught up with us on arrival in Orlando. Some even outran us - you know who you are!

Not all of us made it to wish Mickey a Happy Christmas, but the weather was great and lying by the pool/swimming on Christmas day, made a welcome change to the scarves and gloves of old Blighty.
