Undoubtedly one of the biggest World Aids Day fundraising nights in the country, Wild Fruit's Red Party 2008 was a fantastic night of top entertainment.
With all areas of the club open tonight - the place was a sea of red gorgeousness as people moved between the main dancefloor (DJs Jon Byrne, Neil Duffie and headlined by Gonzalo), to Bamboogy where Curiosity had taken over - along with a gaggle of Brighton's favourite drag acts hosted by Lola Lasagne... through to the Boudoir where we spotted Queen Jo heaping on the R&B. Dolly Rocket was galmmed up to the nines (as ever) and the THT team, looking outrageous, were on hand with information and safe sex packs...
All DJs and artists had given up their time for free for tonight, and entry to the club was free - with a minimum donation of a fiver going straight into the buckets... all we had to do was turn up and party!
The place had been decked out for the occasion... pyrotechnics, dancing musclyboys, stiltwalkers, stunning red lasers and an all-star line-up of DJs and acts. A fantastic night... huge gratitude to everyone who gave up their time and energy to make the party such a special one.
loved it!
A great turnout yet again for a key Brighton event. Gonzalo's set was the highlight and he filled the dancefloor.
