It may still be a couple of months off yet, but that's two months of quality fundraising time before the start of the 2009 Stonewall Equality Walk in Brighton!

The 10k route, devised by local LGBT sports organisation BLAGSS, takes in many of the sites of the city - so it's a great opportunity to invite a few friends down for the weekend to take part!

The launch party was a chance to find out where some of the money raised will be going... this year there is a concerted campaign to get a couple of DVDs of "FIT" a play about fitting in - into every school across the country. We were told that over two thirds of LGBT children still experience some kind of homophobic bullying at school.

This year - if you choose to - you can walk along with the likes of Amy Lamé, Brian Paddick and Mr Gay UK 2008! Registration is open.
