You don't need sunshine, to make a rainbow. Whilst meteorologists amongst you may disagree, the lack of sunshine for the Clare Project Sports Day didn't put them off.

We had an indoor picnic at the Dorset Gardens Methodist Church before the serious business of the games began. First was the egg and spoon race (no eggs were harmed), followed swiftly by the handbag throwing competition.

Next up was the sack race and then the beachwear themed drag racing which I couldn’t resist joining in. As I left they were preparing further sporting challenges...
