The grand old gardens of Montpelier Hall were, once again, home to tonight's Pride opening Garden Party. And this year people even turned up for it, which was a bonus!

Maisie Trollette got the evening started in style (even after a couple of sherries while some technical things were ironed out!) and was joined by Miss Jason for a few fabulous numbers. Bubbly and canapés were being dished out throughout the evening, the obligatory Pride raffle tickets were on sale, buckets were shaking... and waiting in the wings was our headline act for the evening, the stunning miss Fake Bush. "I'm not a tribute act... I'm a post-modern oblique nod or an affectionate salute..." she tells the waiting crowd to much amusement... and then launches into Babooshka sending shivers down our spines. She really is very, very good isn't she. Very, very good!
