Brighton & Hove (actually) Gay Men's Chorus"It's great fun learning to sing together, performing and all the socialising that also goes with it.
We've perfromed in our own Concerts as well as more recently being priveleged to sing at Civil Partnerships, Birthday Celebrations and not forgetting the amazing Golden Handbag Awards which raised some fantastic money towards the permanent Aids Memorial in this City of Brighton and Hove.
We're back home now in St Andrews Church, Waterloo Street on a Monday night and, as Vivian said, you don't have to be a Pavarotti but if you enjoy singing, working as part of a team and lots of Parties why not come along and join.
Happy...xxxx"

Step back 30 years in time and you'd be stepping back into the storm that was the 1979 Campaign for Homosexual Equality's conference in Brighton. 800 delegates came to the event at Brighton Dome and on the day the conference opened 20 members of the local clergy published a letter in the Argus newspaper condemning it.
Brighton Ourstory have put together an exhibition on this storm in a vicar's teacup. It's free to view in the entrance of the Jubilee Library and makes fascinating reading, a reminder of how things have changed in our very own town, I mean city...
It's accompanied by the exhibition from Hove Library celebrating 40 years since the Stonewall riots - Out of the Closet and into the Streets.
Small but beautifully formed, there's plenty to get your teeth into.
