After the mayhem that was Brighton Pride, a little camping trip to Studland! The name of the beach was slightly misleading, but we still had a lovely couple of nights under canvass in the wild. Though the tents were actually nylon. And the car park we were camping in wasn't that wild, other than the two dogs that went through our rubbish. But it was fun!

Naturist beaches can have the tendency to give gay men a reputation... and it's fair to say that we did see the odd bit of activity on the outskirts of the beach. But we also saw women being hovered around by presumably straight men, and heterosexual couples getting quite well acquainted with each other as well. Personally... if you go to a beach where everyone can be at one with nature you should expect a bit of it and not let it put you off!
