It's dark. Dark, a little bit chilly and yet, somehow, sweaty. Dark, chilly, sweaty and quite a good laugh though. No alcohol on sale. But Red Bull seems to do the trick at 3am...

The recently re-re-opened Mantos bar on Canal Street now hosts a regular Sunday morning breakfast club. We arrived at about 3am and managed to keep our eyes prized open until about 4:30am before retreating to our beds. Some people managed much, much longer...

about Manto

Manto on Canal Street is legendary - one of the original features of the gay village and has been through a number of changes over the years. Set on three floors with a covered and heated external balcony on the second level which also serves as a sheltered smoking area, this is very much a place to see and be seen.n.
