It's events like these that speak volumes about the community in Brighton... Hervé and his team threw a dinner party at less than cost and managed to raise £900 for the Brighton AIDS Memorial in just a few hours. A fantastic achievement by any standards.

The wine tonight was chosen by Henry Bottler (is that really his name?) from Buttlers wine cellar, who was there to present his choices to the 26 diners who attended. The food was, obvoiusly, amazing... avocado mousse, tomato fondant and tiger prawns for starters, with venison served with cranbury chutney, celeriac purée and poppy seed croustillant for the main course, and a 'trilogy of café délice' to finish!

A gorgeous evening of fine food, wine and great company around the three large tables... Congratulations are definitely due to Hervé and everyone at the New Steine Bistro for such a fabulous fundraiser.
