The LGBT Fresher's bar crawl has become somewhat of a tradition over the last few years, and is - of course - the perfect opportunity for all the new uni students to get to grips with the Brighton gay scene.

Tonight there seemed to be a theme... at least I'm assuming that we're not in for an entire year of fluorescent leggings... not that I'm complaining. Decked out in their neons, the freshers were herded into groups and made their way around the city following the oh-so-sensible stewards - who obviously stayed entirely sober so that they could remain of some use... obviously.

With glowing wristbands to remind them, just in case the stewards were too rat-arsed after pub number 2, most groups seem to have made it to most venues... in some kind of order or another.

There were loads of special drinks offers and freebies on offer from the participating gay venues: The Amsterdam, The Bulldog, Dr Brighton's, Legends, The Marlborough, The PV, R-Bar, the Queen's Arms and Vavoom... with the fluorescent mayhem continuing on into the small hours at Revenge, of course!
