After her enormous success in the X-Factor 2008, Ruth Lorenzo performed at The Shadow Lounge to the delight of a devoted audience!
The Spanish singer amazed the UK not only by being chosen as one of the finalists in X Factor, but also for getting through to the very last stages of the 2008 edition, the third position before JLS and Alexandra Burke.
Ruth arrived tonight in the company of Diana Vickers - another of the finalists of the show. Both of them signed autographs and posed for the REALLondon cameras - bless them!
The performance was - as expected - impressive. She sang some of the songs that we were expecting like 'Summertime', 'Run', 'Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word' and of course, the track everybody will always remember her with, 'Purple Rain'. She brought her Latin roots to many of the songs, either granting her tracks a flare, and even singing some songs in her mother tongue.
Lorenzo is attractive, friendly and sexy... She smashed it, completely ruling the stage and quickly holding everyone captive! Her energy on stage has to be seen to be believed!
