Following the success of the Red Party, Oceana was once again the sumptuous venue for another large scale Wild Fruit bash, and with the event so close to Valentine's day it was no surprise to find that the theme was pink and lovely!
The Pink Love Ball attracted glammed up drag of all shapes and sizes, and a cross-section of gorgeousness that had to be experienced first-hand to be fully enjoyed! Everything from our own star of Priscilla, Wes, to Manchester's Chrissy Darling to the inimitable Dolly Rocket who took to the stage with a selection of hunks in skintight gold lycra.
Music all over the club was - as expected - outstanding… we snapped people as they bounced very happily to Kate Wildblood, Jonny M and Jon Byrne in the main room and to Queen Jo in the Love Boat - although we feel sure we missed a few doors (and therefore DJs) as we wandered around.
Drinkswise… we were very pleasantly surprised to be able to get three doubles for around a tenner, and that there were bottles on offer at £2 all night… which makes a lot of difference during these lean times!
Did you remember to book Monday off? You did! In that case, see you at Rebel...
