The PV's Nicki celebrated her 40th Birthday in style (and at some length) beginning with a fabulous Disney inspired Birthday Party on the Saturday. Regulars and friends made huge efforts to dress appropriately - we counted at least four Cruellas, assorted fairies (well, you would...), a Hairy Poppins, a Pinocchio, several Snow Whites, a melange of Pirates, a chimney sweep and Aladdin & Princess Jasmine. That's not including the Birthday Girl herself, who as testament to never growing up, came resplendent as Peter Pan.

With the Charity Shop Girls playing a huge party mix with a few Disney Classics slipped in for good measure, the night was extremely busy with funseekers.

We popped back on Wednesday, when celebrations (which I don't believe stopped at all) concluded with Nicki's actual 40th. Amongst the general mayhem, we were treated to a very special quiz hosted by Nicki's partner, Alex, who also popped THE question during one of the rounds.
