REALBrighton would like to announce that Summer has officially begun. How do we know? Easy. When there's standing room only on the Amsterdam terrace then you know it's time to turn off the central heating, pack away your woollens and find your sunglasses!

Okay, okay - so there may still be a bit of a chill in that sea breeze so you'd probably better have a hoodie ready for when the sun goes behind a cloud!

The Amsterdam, by the way, is looking particularly fabulous after completion of phase one of the bar refurb. The wall that separated the bar from the front window area has been replaced with two sleek pillars - which really opens the whole place up and makes it brighter and... oh, stop reading this and go see for yourself! It's lovely!

Here's to the start of a summer of milling around the tables on the Amsterdam terrace chatting to friends and smiling! Hoorah!
