REALBrighton review
The Golden Handbags 2010... Another glitzy evening of high spirits at the Hilton Metropole superbly held together by the multi-handbag-winning Lola Lasagne. The night recognises some of the people and organisations that make the scene special... and, of course, recognises some of the people who have canvassed hard over the last weeks too!
It's not all about the winning... but try telling that to the runners-up...!
As ever, the production team, security and all the performers tonight donated their services for nothing so that the ticket price went straight to good causes... This year the chosen fund was the Rainbow Fund, administered by the Sussex Community Foundation who ringfence the money raised to be given to local LGBT groups.
