You'd be mistaken if you thought the Marlborough was exclusively a bar for the ladies… although it's true to say that the L in LGBT is particularly well catered for! Tonight we found all manner of lesbians and their friends hanging out around the pool table, chatting by the bar and being thoroughly entertained by the DJ.

The Marlborough is, by all accounts, a bar of many talents… the side area with comfy chairs is great for a relaxing glass of vino or two, the pool table is great for… well, some pool obviously… and the front bar area is where all the action is! Add to that the street area which is routinely open for drinking and smoking in the summery months - and you've got a very well rounded drinking hole!

…and of course you'd be a fool if you didn't also check out the listings for the regular theatrics that take place in one of Brighton's most gorgeous little theatres upstairs, too!
