You'd be hard pushed to find a lovelier, harder working, more multi-talented DJ than our very own Lil'Alex. Nominated for the Golden Handbag for best DJ and winning a slew of competition heats for his sets over the last year or so, it's aaaalways a treat to find him behind the decks - whatever the occasion.

Tonight, as ever on a Thursday night, he was spinning us cheese and pop remixes downstairs in Charles Street - albeit without his usual sidekick for the night, Leeroy - and I found it hard to prise myself away. So I didn't... instead, following him upstairs to Get Some as he took over from (also Handbag-nominated) Zac Hadley and (another 2010 Handbag nominee!) Lady Bex for the last hour... playing an altogether housier set.

Not quite sure how the sun ended up emerging before I'd had time to get to bed, but it was a thoroughly lovely Thursday night out, so the hangover was without a doubt worth it.
