Bar 429 is a lot of fun.

Its quirky starcloth-backed stage above the bar is regularly used for top cabaret, but perhaps more regularly used for parading whatever totty happens to be propped up at the bar - with the lure of a free shot or two being all it takes for some flesh to be exposed. Gay, bi, straight... somewhere in between... it's all a bit of a blur once the music is playing and everyone's partying!

With more changes afoot to make it easier to chat in the bar, and with a vast downstairs club area just waiting for its moment... Bar 429 is deservedly sliding into the limelight.

If you venture over to see what the fuss is about then expect dancing on the bar, expect straight boys to be on stage kissing photographers (it's a tough job taking all these photos...), expect the staff to join in, shirtless boys to make a podium of anything above shoulder level and expect to leave with a smile on your face.

The venue is easily accessible by train - and trains run regularly and in both London and Brighton directions until very late, and start again at 4am if you've made a big night of it!
