Another bloody fabulous evening of laughter and merriment at Komedia and at the hands of Car Harding and in aid of the mental health charity Mind.

As ever, the night was the perfect mix of comedy and music - with a bit of background to boot. Poet Yvo Luna was first up and her 'Lesbian Sheep' were a big hit! The all-girl ukulele band Qukulele strummed A Few Of Their Favourite Things - the audience sang and clapped along! Debra Jane Appleby is from Yorkshire… "Look at all you people out there… you're the Daily Mail's worts nightmare!", and the first half was rounded off with the increasingly impressive Gay Men's Chorus who's Dancing Queen left everyone with a tune in their heads for the interval.

Loving Hope Springs who opened the second half with Windmills Of Your Mind and who is just too fabulous! Zoe Lyons headlined the show and I think it's fair to say brought the house down… Zoe - as if you need telling - is something raaaather special and it's an utter treat every single time. The Gay Men's Chorus was back for the grand finale - and their rather yummy new MD Marc Yarrow was ousted by Cat Harding who conducted with gusto!

A perfectly formed night of joy!

Oh - and it wouldn't be a fair review of the night not to mention the lovely Paula who signed her way out of lots of comedy corners. It was also a real pleasure to watch as she expertly signed through some of the songs.
