A question of Pride...
review
Our favourite little nook in Brighton, The Marine Tavern, played host to their Pride Pub Quiz Heat, which culminates in the Final at The Harlequin. The little pub was very busy as the serious business of answering John and Kevin's tricky questions - a question is, after all, only easy if you know the answer.
Steve and the Marine Tavern team were generous in provision of prizes and, after Steve took control of an ad hoc auction, the money raised went well over £150! Well done to all involved!

The Marine Tavern is a small and cosy traditional pub (remember those?), where the bar staff are friendly and so are the customers. Predominantly gay men prop up the bar while camp music plays without intruding into conversation. With a pub quiz every week and various fundraising activities on the odd occasion, this establishment is how a gay pub should be - free from attitude and part of the comm...
