Mad Tony, as we are now renaming him - assuming he's still of this world by the time you read this (more on that in a moment) was behind the decks at Doctor Brighton's tonight - and there were plenty of gorgeous punters to enjoy his tunes. As ever, a friendly welcome, a friendly crowd and a friendly smoking area (if a little wind-beaten!).

So back to Mad Tony who on Sunday was due to join the Bear-Patrol to take a dive from a plane - free falling for 10,000 ft and then (with luck) landing safely somewhere near Salisbury Airfield.

The 15 skydiving Bear Patrollers have already raised £4,500 for the Sussex Beacon - and if you'd like to add your sponsorship (however small) it will be gift-aided and given directly to the Beacon. The Beacon is using Virgin Money rather than the usual JustGiving for donations which ensures that even more of your cash makes it to the intended destination!
