Did you score?...
review
Undoubtedly the best Wild Fruit I have been to (and I’ve been to one or two!). Undoubtedly the sexiest crowd at a Wild Fruit I have seen... there’s just something about boys in footy shorts isn’t there?! Undoubtedly the best music for ages... Cheers then Mr DJs; Undoubtedly too many “undoubtedly"s! If you weren’t there then more fool you!
Most people had to wait in the hour-long queue outside (maybe those of us that got our tickets in advance could be rewarded with queue jump next time?), just to find they had to wait for at least another 30 mins in the cloakroom queue (Hey Fruity Crew I beg you to open the downstairs cloakroom as well next time… pretty please!). But the incredible atmosphere meant you soon forgot all the queuing! The amazingly mixed crowd had the time of its life!
What a way to start the Summer Season of Wild Fruit parties!

Si&R&B
photos by Si Denton
If it all got a bit too claustrophobic on the main dancefloor, a little bit chilly in your shorts, or you felt a bit strange going a few laps round the balcony just to find your mates, there was the ever-so-funky RnB sesh in the Boudoir.
Situated at the back of Creation, the very friendly (and dare I say photogenic?) DJ's served up a delicious mix of hot & sweaty tracks to get us grinding our hips like a thing possessed. Possessed with what, I'm unsure, but it did seem to be catching. The whole place started to rival Dynamite Boogaloo for heat and humidity! And not a Dolly Rocket in sight...

about Wild Fruit
|
The monthly Wild Fruit is undoubtedly one of Brighton's clubbing institutions. Always glamorous, always packed and always great music from resident DJs Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie and friends. The night is often punctuated with stage acts, muscly dancers, regular live big name PAs and guest DJs such as local superstar DJ Norman Cook... it's NEVER a dull party! The next Wild Fruit date for your diary:
Sunday, 7th December
