Hard South - The Summer Mash Up...
review One of Brighton's most successful Fridayniters returned for a its annual party – The Hard South Summer Mash Up.Andy Farley was playing the main set to a packed-out audience in the front room, and also making his last appearance of 2004! Joined by DJ Drummer and Salerno, The Honeyclubs main room was filled with uplifting House and Trance all the way through til 4 in the morning. In the backroom was classic house and funked up grooves from Mr Carter, DJ Esteban and Hardsouth co-founder Russ. Hardsouth now has a regular slot down at The Honeyclub on the first Friday of the month, and was recently voted the 18th Top Night out in the UK from readers of Mix Mag. It’s not surprising really seeing as everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives shakin it to some of the top tunes on the South Coast. Andy Farley named Hard South to be the UK’s best new promotions in recent interview with harderfaster.net saying, “Hard South in Brighton – One of the most up-for-it crowds I’ve played to!" With it being just £6 (NUS) all night on one of Brighton's busiest nights of the week, how can you possibly go wrong? Head down to the Honeyclub on Friday 6th August for their next party. This may soon take its place as one of Brighton's most popular Friday night House Parties!
