review

So you’ve had your pre-club drinkies with the Bar150 Bunnies down at The Queens Arms, “Now what?" I hear you cry! Well if you don’t know the answer to that one by now you’re either visiting Brighton for the first time or have been locked in a dark room for the last two years!

Envy is only a two minute stagger from the QA if you want yet more drinks at bargain basement prices.

Week after week this popular night packs out the little club above Charles Street. Whether you are finishing off your weekend or starting early for the next one, you're bound to have a fun night out... although you might have trouble remembering it.

And in case you didn't work it out from the queue of queens outside, as you enter the club you are reminded that Envy is a Gay club, for Gay people. In theory, the door policy is being tightened, so leave behind that hen night you were dragging around with you last week, okay?

The music is trashy (just like the loos... sigh...), the drinks are cheap, the atmosphere is electric and my head still hurts. I would say "never again on a school night", but I’d be lying.
