review Who said that in the weeks running up to Pride we should all stay at home and conserve ourselves for the mammoth weekend before us? Well, whoever it was didn't tell anyone down at Dynamite Boogaloo!It’s been a while since I have ventured deep down into the depths below that is The Joint, and I'd forgotten just what I have been missing out on. Hundreds of lovely ladies and gorgeous guys doing what we in Brighton seem to do best... in the words of Cyndi Lauper, us Girls (and boys) just wanna have fun! The sweat dripping from each and everyone just added to the atmosphere of a party-crazy Thursday night out in "Straight Street"; the Hetro/Homo mix is always very well balanced. Although our host for the evening... The legendary Boogaloo Stu, was absent (he was in New York, apparently... well OK, he was in Scotland, but New York just sounded so much more glam) that didn’t stop us partying into the wee hours. REALBrighton heartily recommends Boogaloo, and has done for bloody years! PS. Don't miss the Boogaloo Pride Special on 7th August @ The Open House, Springfield Road (Parallel to London Road Station)
