Pride Sunday Sunshine

REALBrighton review
The sun was barely at high noon and the bars and streets were already showing the strain as people poured in to continue their partying. True, some of them hadn't been to sleep (I have it on good authority that the party down on the seafront didn't finish until way past sunrise), but most people still managed to look relatively fresh-faced as they tentatively sipped at their hair-of-the-dog...

Backstreet boys and gals...
photos by Sam Milford & Jamie NormanFor anyone who made it up to Rock Place, the street party was surely one of the highlights of the Pride Weekend. With a cooling breeze blowing through the party, and pumping tunes from a fantastic line-up of DJs (yes, Dirty Vegas was playing as well!), this was one superb gathering.

The Return of Arsenic & Old Lace
photos by Sam MilfordAfter Masie's short spell in hospital this was somewhat of a welcome-back party. The one-in-one-out packed-to-capacity bar indicated how many people wanted to make sure he felt Brighton's love!

St James' Street Cabaret
photos by Sam MilfordSt. James Street quickly filled up, and the cabaret stage outside the St James pub was a popular spot. Dame Margo presiding with a host of great acts... not quite sure how Lola made it back into those heels though...

We will party in the streets
photos by Sam MilfordAaaahh, the Queen's Arms! If it's a street full of smiley, party people, an open-air bar, music and festive camp decorations that you crave, then you absolutely can't beat it!
