A rather schitzo weather pattern prevented the annual barbecue from really taking off on the outside, but there were plenty of people on the inside, having a darn good drink!

Watch out for forthcoming events at The Amsterdam - in case you need reminding, it's a great little venue with fabulous views, ya know.

After a few beers and a bit of a natter, we popped along to Vavoom for a bit of a drink and a natter - oh, how we love Brighton Sundays!

about Amsterdam Bar & Bistro

The Amsterdam occupies a prime position on the seafront, overlooking the Brighton Pier (the one that's still standing) and in the heart of the busy St James' Street / Kemptown area. A hotel, bar and sauna all under one roof, with a prominant terrace at the front, its the natural place for everyone to make a beeline for the minute the sun peeks through the clouds in the summer.
