Wild Fruit Turns Twelve.....
review
Wigs. With all sorts of bodies attached to them. Muscle-bound, heeled up, shiny, furry, skintight and sequinned and stilted. Fire-breathers, boys in pants, pyrotechnics and fabulous music. Happy Birthday Wild Fruit!
Although the place wasn't as rammed as it has been over the last few months, the response was great: "my Best Wild Fruit ever" (said one REALBrighton VIP when he finally woke up on Thursday).
Tell me where else you can spend £10 or £12 on a ticket, get merry on £1.50 drinks offers all night long and enjoy all the trimmings that are part of a big blow-out party like this... stilt-walkers, fire-breathers, a stunning fashion show, fireworks, big ol balloons to bounce around above the dancefloor, colour lasers and a top DJ line-up as ever! Bring it on!
HOW many photographers were out there, though? I found it quite hard to get in there with the camera this month: "Can I grab a photo?" "No mate, you've already taken it twice..." - then hands me a fistful of cards from the Creation, The Honeyclub (the Honeyclub?!), and a bunch of others. Where REALBrighton leads...

about Wild Fruit

The monthly Wild Fruit is undoubtedly one of Brighton's clubbing institutions. Always glamorous, always packed and always great music from resident DJs Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie and friends. The night is often punctuated with stage acts, muscly dancers, regular live big name PAs and guest DJs such as local superstar DJ Norman Cook... it's NEVER a dull party! The next Wild Fruit date for your diary:
