Masisie goes to the Dogs...
review For those of you living in Kemp Town many of you may well be acquainted with the delights of Legends, as often one quick drink there before hitting Revenge can turn into a marathon round. Tonight’s outing though was marked with a different sort of athleticism in the form of cheering and yelling as the lovely Maisie Trollette was the hostess of Legend’s ‘Night with the Dogs’!Initially not entirely sure how it would work as Coral Greyhound Stadium is miles away, I thought maybe that new plasma screen they have includes satellite link up!? No not so hi-tech but that didn’t mean the evening wasn’t high with spirits as we watched race video clips and placed bets on our favourite dog, whilst Legend’s newest recruit, little Marco was mooching round asking for donations in his bucket for charity. Then once the race began it was anyone’s guess whose dog would win! A great evening and proceeds from the whole evening went towards Open Door, the charity which works towards providing a safe and supportive place for people living with HIV.
