And so it continues. What has felt like the longest January ever is finally drawing to a close and the weekend's beckoning. And with it some exciting news. Our compilation 'Private Party 2 is about to be unleashed on the streets (29.01.06) and to celebrate we've gone all double floor for the next Majesty on 11.02.06 at Charles St Bar and Club. How exciting is that? So I finally get to play the decent laidback house I love so on a saturday night and the missus gets to do her thing upstairs. We have lots of plans for this Valentine Special - safe to say ebay's Vally dept has been raided - and we'll be keeping it strictly sweet, sticky and loved up. Last saturday saw this Wildblood play my last gig at Brighton's Candy Bar. A great night - esp that last 90 min session of "Wildblood's in charge and you will love Babs".It's been a long residency and the past five years have seen some fab moments - dropping tunes to screams of joy at the Pride Candy bar tent (bring it back Pride!!!!), djing in shop windows, bobbing for dildos, being a spaceman, watching gaffa become bras, meeting barmaids who soon became bessies, counting in many New Years, deep and meaningful's in the arches, marvelling at Kim's waltzing, doing the "Close To You" singing thing for the missus, wondering if we'll ever reach those "Wuthering Heights" and slipping down too many slipppery nips but the time has come to pack up the Flashdance and MJ and move on. Not an easy decision but you know how it is. Big love and thanx to all those who made it down for my final Candy taste, big, big love to all the Candy staff past and present who made keepin the girls sweet a right pleasure and a massive good luck girl to Miss Annik who joins the saturday night Candy dj rota. If anyone can rock the Candy world it's her!
