probably more so in brighton than anywhere else. i think we're more flip-flop aware around here. The flip-flop nightmare is when someone stands on the back and the thong snaps under your toe and you have to do a makeshift repair job using blue plasters from behing the bar.

Infact, in a small corner of Preston alternative rock scene's underground lesbian contingent circa 2000 i was exclusively known as flip-flops. It's a miracle i kept all my toes in those mosh pits filled with shards of glass - but i like living on the edge.

this sundae saw me too living on the flip flop edge as i dj'd. flip flops flying through the air towards the technics via queen josephine thanx to some body popping dolls was quite a thrill i can assure u. luckily they were designer so no damage there......

watch out for all that glass on the dance floor though. they banned flipflops in envy a few years ago cos someone had a bit of an acident, so i heard..
